It's been a while...

HAPPY NEW YEAR, FIRSTLY, SECONDLY I AM STILL TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHERE TO BEGIN!

I'm starting to work on my next album. It's been kind of rough but I can see things smoothing out.

I have a few shows booked and I am so ready to hit the road. I have to get the dancers and the right tunes and make it happen! Glory to God.

I have started a "FaceBook" book called "Redeemed" and it has been getting great response. I update it every Wednesday but I am actually behind by three weeks. Christmas, New Years, and traveling has me behind but I am planning on catching up soon. I have so many ideas for it and I just need to get it on paper.

Lil' Chris is now in school from morning and afternoon so I have been trying to get use to it and so has he. I have some trouble getting him up in the mornings and once he is up, he is ready to play. Getting on the bus and leaving him Mommy has not been fun for either of us. It will take some time.

I've started taking photos as a hobby; helping other artists, family members and friends so if you need photoshoot, let me know.

In a few months my husband, Puntin, and I will be celebrating out 2 years anniversay and I can say that challenges have come but I am so glad that we have made it this far. Marriage is not easy but with God in our relationship and in our lives it has been a great journey so far.

Hit me up on:

New Adventures

It's been a while but I have to make this short. Things have been pretty good. God continues to keep us and I'm thankful everyday. I'm starting school today. I am excited and ready to do this thing for real. I've been doing on-line classes for about 2 years and I am heading back into the classroom. I can see my degree now!! :) Music is still going. I'm starting my next album this month and I have high expectations for my new baby. Lil' Chris will be turning 4 in two weeks. I am so excited!! He is growing to be such a smart boy. Puntin is dropping his latest project at the end of July and he is super stoked about that. I can't wait to get feedback...of course it will be great feedback! Well, I have to go. Sorry for the short post. I'll get back to guys real soon. More updates will be coming up ASAP!

Romans 6:12-23

Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, to make you obey its passions. Do not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness. For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.

What then? Are we to sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness? But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed, and, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness. I am speaking in human terms, because of your natural limitations. For just as you once presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness leading to sanctification.

For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. But what fruit were you getting at that time from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

On My Last Straw

How many of you have been to a point in your life were you felt helpless, hopeless, and/or bound by difficult situations? Where, if one more bad thing happened, it would tip the scale. If one more person did you wrong, you were going to go crazy. If you couldn't pay one more bill, you were going to give up. If you couldn't get healed, you were going to breakdown. Many of us feel that we are at our last straw and that the weight of this world is too much to bear. But, I want to let you know that God sent His son Jesus to die for you, to shed His blood. Jesus was beaten and every wound makes you healed. Jesus was talked about but in the end He was the savior of everyone's life. Jesus took two fish and fives loaves of bread and fed 5000. So, know that he can put food in your refrigerator. Know that he can make a way for your bills to be paid. When bad things happen, you are just going through a test. At the end of that test lies a great reward. The only thing you have to do is stand firm on the rock, which is Jesus. Don't stand on sinking sand; stand on the rock. When you reach the end of that trying test; that difficult situation, you can believe that God will have something GREAT waiting for you. He only wants to know that He can trust you with YOUR blessings. He has blessings waiting on YOU. Would you give your children or your loved ones a gift if you knew they would take it for granted or they would let it go to waste or even throw it away? That's how God feels with us. He wants to bless you; you just have to trust Him. You just have to give Him all of you. Give Him your problems and leave your problems with Him. Don't take them back with you into your home or your surroundings. So, someone is spreading lies about you. Someone is dragging your name through mud. So, someone is bringing up your past. Just pray for them. Love them anyway, because God will bless you for it. At the same time, the same ones that are talking about you cannot deny the change you made when you began to live for Christ. The ones who are talking about you probably want to be blessed like you but they are right where you use to be. Bound and shackled by the curses of the world. They talk about you because the devil wants to use them to tear you down. But you have the Power of God to hold you up. So don't give up. Don't throw in the towel. Just wait a little while longer and BELIEVE!, TRUST! that God WILL make a way. Now, what you can do right now is PRAISE HIM FOR IT IN ADVANCE. Praise Him before you even see signs of a breakthrough because in actuality, the moment you truly know that God will make a way, the way was just made. You just have to wait on God. Watch Him work on your behalf. Hallelujah!! Praise Him. Praise Him. Thank you Jesus. HE IS WORTHY TO BE PRAISED!!

Busy...Busy...Busy

Well, we have a pretty busy weekend coming up. Three shows in two days. Pray for traveling grace. I am still anticipating the viewing of our videos, which I haven't seen yet. EEKKK!! I'm bubbly with impatience! We should see the outcome of that busy video shoot day in a few days. After this busy weekend comes another busy weekend. Our Tru Champions Album Release Concert is April 3rd and we have lots to do in a little time. A few days ago we finally put the order in to get our albums manufactured and I can't wait for us to receive them. Fliers have been made but need to be printed and we have to have the venue looking fantastic for the concert. I still have to get with my dancers for some last minute rehearsals and I need to make sure our routines are finalized; no last minute changes. I have had to choreograph our recent routines and I need to make sure they are spectacular. That has been really hard. (Thank you Eric Collins for giving me a blueprint to use!) I still need to go shopping for the event and shop for attire. I know that turn out will be great and all the people that mean the most to us will be in attendance. So much to do, so little time. WHERE DID THE TIME GO?!

VIDEO SHOOT

Wow...words hardly can't express how proud I am of what I do. Puntin and I had a wonderful time shooting our "Ballin'" and "I'm A Winner" videos yesterday. Xavier Burke and Samson Omaivboje did an awesome job and were great to work with. Lots of our supporters, family and friends came out to support and be a part and I want to THANK them all. GOD BLESS EACH OF YOU. You helped to make it all possible and the shoot as successful as it was. THANK YOU JESUS...HE IS SO GOOD!! The video will premier on April 3rd at SOS Ministries' new location at 7:00 p.m. at Puntin and I's Tru Champions Album Release. IT WILL BE A CONCERT THAT YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS!! So mark your calendars and get ready!! Also, thank you everyone that keeps us in your prayers. We love you all! We will keep ya posted!
